Blackboard Course Management System
Western Piedmont utilizes Blackboard, an E-Learning platform, to offer students a flexible alternative to the traditional seated classroom environment. Blackboard can be, and is used by Western Piedmont for fully online instruction, hybrid online/on-campus courses and as a supplemental instructional vehicle for traditional campus-based courses. If a course utilizes Blackboard, the student will automatically have a Blackboard account established at the beginning of each semester. The student will use the same username and password for logging into Blackboard as he or she will use to log on to campus lab computers and student email. The campus Blackboard system can be accessed at http://bb.wpcc.edu.
