ART 260 Photography Appreciation

This course introduces the origins and historical development of photography. Emphasis is placed on the study of composition and history of photography as an art form. Upon completion, students should be able to recognize and produce, using color transparencies, properly exposed, well-composed photographs. This course has been approved to satisfy the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement and the Independent Comprehensive Articulation Agreement for transferability as a pre-major and/or elective course requirement. This course has been approved for transfer under the ICAA as a pre-major and/or elective course requirement.
