CSC 220 Machine Implem of Algor

This course covers the organization and operation of real computer systems at the assembly language level. Topics include mapping of statements and constructs onto machine instruction sequences, internal data types and structures representation, numerical computation, and iterative approximation methods. Upon completion, students should be able to analyze computer system organization, implement procedural language elements, and describe the programming language translation process. This course has been approved to satisfy the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement and the Independent Comprehensive Articulation Agreement for transferability as a pre-major and/or elective course requirement.
