Benefits for Veterans and Dependents
All curricula at Western Piedmont have been approved for veteran’s educational assistance under Public Law 634. Dependents of deceased or disabled veterans may also be eligible for educational assistance under federal or state programs. The War Orphan’s Educational Assistance Act of 1956 entitles sons or daughters of 100% disabled veterans or of veterans who died of a service-connected disability to receive benefits from the Veterans Administration. To apply for Veterans Educational Benefits, students should contact the Coordinator for Veterans Affairs at the College.
