PSY 239 Psychology of Personality

This course covers major personality theories and personality research methods. Topics include, psychoanalytic, behavioristic, social learning, cognitive, humanistic, and trait theories including supporting research. Upon completion, students should be able to compare and contrast traditional and contemporary approaches to the understanding of individual differences in human behavior. This course has been approved to satisfy the CAA and the ICAA as a general education core requirement in social/behavioral sciences.
