This course introduces principles, fields of study, computational tools and techniques used in engineering and engineering technology. Topics include use of word processors, spreadsheets, databases, math editors, graphics and CAD packages, simulators, symbolic and numerical math solvers, and related application software. Upon completion, students should be able to utilize computer applications in an engineering technology career.
