DEA 213 3D Design and Animation I

This course covers techniques needed to create and animate 3D assets for use in media such as digital storytelling, interactive experiences, and commercial visualization. Topics include developing models, applying surface detail, lighting scenes, and animating objects with purpose and clarity. Emphasis is placed on motion principles, timing, and staging, as well as technical practices like clean topology and asset organization. Upon completion, students should be able to produce animated 3D content that communicates ideas effectively across a range of industries, including games, marketing, and entertainment.
