HIS 260 History of Africa

This course surveys the history of Africa from pre-history to the present. Emphasis is placed on the evolution of social, political, economic, and governmental structures in Africa. Upon completion, students should be able to analyze significant political, socioeconomic, and cultural developments in Africa. This course has been approved to satisfy the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement and the Independent Comprehensive Articulation Agreement for transferability as a pre-major and/or elective course requirement.
