Course Repeats
Curriculum courses at WPCC may be attempted a maximum of three times. A course shall be considered attempted when one of the following grades is assigned: A, B, C, D, F, SC or NC. Students seeking to retake a course beyond the third time must complete a Student Petition. To determine eligibility for graduation, only the grade points earned for the attempt with the highest grade will be used in computation of the grade point average. Transitional courses are exempt from this policy. A program may have a more restrictive policy regarding how many times students may take a particular course for credit to fulfill program requirements. For an exception to this program policy, students may complete a Student Petition. Additional regulations for repeating courses may be enforced for students receiving financial aid or VA Education Benefits.
