Phi Theta Kappa – International Honor Society of the Two Year College
The purpose of this organization is to recognize scholarly achievement among two-year college students and to promote continued academic excellence and leadership development. WPCC recommends students for induction into the Alpha Gamma Mu Chapter who meet all of the following criteria:
- Are enrolled in a degree program,
- Have earned at least 12 semester hours credit at WPCC,
- Have a minimum 3.50 grade point average (GPA), and
- Must be recommended by academic advisor.
During the year, members are provided opportunities for personal growth through involvement in a variety of programs. All members are required to maintain a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.25 to avoid membership probation or a revoked status. New members are inducted during the spring semester.
