North Carolina Community College Childcare Assistance Program
The North Carolina General Assembly allocates funds each year to community colleges to assist qualified student-parents with child care expenses. The main purpose of child care assistance is to increase access to child care for low-income student-parents to enable the continuation of their post-secondary education.
Students interested in receiving Child Care Assistance should complete the FAFSA and the Child Care Application available on the Financial Aid webpage. Funding is limited and awarded on a first come, first served basis.
