North Carolina Education Lottery Scholarship (NCELS)
The North Carolina Education Lottery Scholarship (NCELS) program was created by the 2005 General Assembly to provide financial assistance to needy North Carolina residents. Students must be enrolled at least six credit hours per semester at an eligible college in the state of North Carolina. NCELS is available for the Fall and Spring Semesters only.
Students who have completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) are automatically considered for the NCCCG (there is no separate application).
